Salvadoran man charged with incest

A sixty year old Salvadoran man of Scotland Halfmoon Village is behind bars allegedly for having sexual relations with his fourteen year old daughter. While the incident was reported only last week the girl claims that her father has been having relations with her since she was eleven. The father appeared before Magistrate Tracy Sosa to face one count of Incest and one count of Grievous Harm upon his young daughter. Bail was denied and Magistrate Sosa remanded him to the Hattieville Prison until September twenty second. But while he has only been charged with one count of the offense, sources close to the investigation say that another of the man’s daughters has also made similar allegations against him. Since the report of the fourteen year old has been made, the Belize Social Service Department has been involved.
