Inmate passes away

In the immediate aftermath of the grisly discovery, word quickly spread that retaliation for the quadruple murders was imminent.  In the frenzy that ensued, media houses across the city began receiving reports that an inmate at the Belize Central Prison had also been killed.  A further check with prison officials later revealed that while an inmate did pass away this morning, he succumbed to a medical condition with which he was remanded to the facility a week ago.  That inmate has since been identified as forty-eight year-old Florentino Ayala, a resident of Orange Walk District. On admission to the special care section of the prison on the last day of last year, he had injuries to the eye, chest, knee and toes.
