Saturday night home invasion with a pistol
Belize City police are investigating a home invasion that occurred on Saturday night. Linsford McKenzie and his girlfriend were at home when around eight-forty p.m. five men entered their home. One of the men was armed with what appeared to be a nine millimeter pistol. He demanded that the couple hand over their jewelry. In fear for their lives, McKenzie and his companion told the men that the jewelry could be found in their bedroom. The assailants made off with an assortment of items, valuing over six thousand dollars.
