New newspaper seeks Spanish speaking audience
While members of the Spanish speaking population in Belize have long enjoyed Hispanic programming on the airwaves, thanks to a new initiative by a Belize City media house, they are now able to read the news in their first language. The first edition of Noticias hit the streets last week and according to publisher Harry Lawrence, has had a warm reception.
