Workshop to teach women business skills
An official event associated with the sixteen days of activism is the Women’s Department’s craft expo and entrepreneurial training, scheduled for this weekend. In two days women will learn small business management and receive training in jewellery making, hat weaving, embroidery, and crocheting. According to Director of the Women’s Department, Carol Fonseca, Belizeans will be able to purchase the crafts as Christmas gifts.
