Auto dealers show off new models this weekend
It’s that time of year again when Belize’s official automobile dealerships suspend their competitive impulses to unite in a single exhibition of their shiny new chariots. And while most of us will only drool, the evidence on the streets indicates that those new vehicles are becoming increasingly popular.
Alan Auil, Managing Director, J.M.A. Motors Limited
?We will have our Suzuki Grand Vitara. The new 2007 model which is brand new for this year; a do over for the Grand Vitara. We will also have the brand new, for the first time it will be seen in Belize the Mitsubishi L-200 pickup truck.?
Eddie Bouloy, Managing Director, Bravo Motors
?What I have behind me right are two of the models that we are premiering at the show. They include the new Jeep Compass and the ultra luxurious Nissan Pathfinder. In addition, we will also be premiering the new Isuzu D-Max Limited and the Nissan Xterra.?
Bill Bowman, General Manager, Belize Estate Co, LTD.
?In the Kia line up, we will have the Kia Sportage and the Kia Sorento. These are all new redesigned models, fuel efficient models, and are all diesel and automatic transmission.?
Emil Torres, Sales Representative, Belize Diesel/Equipment Co, LTD.
?Our full line up for vehicles meaning pickup trucks and all of our SUV?s.?
Belize City is four auto dealers are promising you the ride of a life time as J.M.A. Motors, Bravo Motors, Belize Diesel and Belize Estate will be showcasing the latest set of wheels available in the country. Not surprisingly, they tout the advantage of buying new brand, not second hand.
Eddie Bouloy
?When we sit down with customers that have used vehicles, the monthly payment they are making, the maintenance and expenses they are incurring, the cost of fuel that they are buying when we add it all up and show them what a diesel vehicle would cost them or what a fuel efficient new gasoline model would cost them it is the same or less than they are spending right now.?
Alan Auil
?There are three major investments that one goes through in life personally would be: one your marriage, your house and lot and the third one would be a vehicle. I mean certainly in these times and with modern technology you need a vehicle to get around.?
Bill Bowman
?So having that warranty certainly brings great benefits from having that, because whatever repairs is necessary on the vehicle it is always covered by the warranty. Of course, the cost of ownership is reduced.?
Emil Torres
?It?s like when you are renovating or fixing up your house. If it?s putting glass shutters or aluminium shutters you want to invest in something that will last you long.?
The dealers say all of their vehicles are durable and can withstand our often rough road conditions. Drivers are reminded that representatives from lending institutions will be on hand to make that purchase a little bit more affordable.
The Autoshow will be hosted at Old Belize at mile five on the Western Highway on Saturday and Sunday. There will be entertainment including food, drinks and lots of raffles and giveaways.
