Cayo school dormitory destroyed by fire
A fire shortly after noon today in San Ignacio destroyed a building that housed students attending various high schools in the twin towns. The wooden structure on Victoria Street, operated by the Catholic parish, was completely engulfed by flames that also burned up the belongings of the eight students who lived there. No one was inside at the time and the cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
