Cops seize AK-47 in Corozal
Police have removed one more automatic weapon from the streets. The AK-47 was seized in Corozal last night when police intercepted a black Toyota speeding around the town out of control. The prohibited weapon was found inside the vehicle and when cops subsequently searched the home of the twenty-one year old driver they found a magazine for the rifle. The driver plus two occupants of the house have been detained pending charges.
