63 pounds of weed found in Jane Usher Blvd. home
On a regular basis the police department reports the destruction of a marijuana plantation somewhere in the bush. But tonight there is word that a ganja farmer or farmers have been hard at work, right on Jane Usher Boulevard in Belize City. According to police, around two thirty this afternoon an anonymous tip sent them to a home where they found the drugs in eight separate garbage bags and three plastic buckets. All tallied, the weed weighed in at a whopping sixty-three and a quarter pounds. One person was at home at the time of the raid and he has been detained pending charges.
