Victim dies; charges upped to murder
Two men on remand for the September fourteenth attack on a sixty-five year old man in Dangriga have had their charges upgraded to murder after the victim died. Twenty-six year old Frank Arzu and twenty-seven year old Eldon Leslie were charged with attempted murder after they allegedly burglarised Nunez’s Sharp Street home, hit the owner in the head with a blunt object and then left him bleeding on the floor. Nunez never regained consciousness as he slipped into a coma and passed away from his wounds around seven-forty on Wednesday night at the Southern Regional Hospital.
