Pair arrested following gas station burglary

Two brothers have been arrested and charged after they were caught before they could flee the scene of a burglary. Nineteen year old Darren Gillett and his twenty year old brother Kenroy Gillett were found by police inside the Esso New Road Service Station after a burglary was reported at the establishment Sunday evening. A search of Kenroy turned up thirty-three phone cards and a five dollar U.S. note, while Darren’s knapsack yielded two thousand seven hundred sixty-nine dollars in cash, all allegedly taken from the premises. The pair were granted bail of four thousand dollars each and will return to court on November second.
