Cabinet takes next week off for retreat
And in news from Belmopan, don’t expect much work to get done in the nation’s capital next week. That’s when the entire Cabinet will be undertaking a retreat to take a deeper look at where the government and country stands and where we may be headed. According to a release from the office of the Prime Minister, the retreat, to be held at Caye Chapel, will review progress toward the fulfilment of the 2003 P.U.P. manifesto, consider targets for the 2007-2008 budget and formulate a long term strategic development framework called “Vision 2025.”
