Who shot Valley of Peace resident?

Belmopan Police are currently investigating two incidents which occurred over the weekend that have left several persons recovering at the Western Regional Hospital. The first incident happened at around eleven-thirty on Saturday night in Valley of Peace. Salvadoran farmer, Edwardo Antonio Garcia, reported to police that he and a group of friends were coming from a village council function when he heard a single gunshot. Shortly after he felt his side burning and realized that he had been shot. Garcia was transported to the hospital where Police observed that he had been grazed by a bullet on his right ribcage. Today, News Five was told that officers are in Valley of Peace investigating but so far there is no information because Garcia could not tell them from which direction the shot was fired.
