Mother and daughter duo charged for attacking woman

A mother and daughter who got into an altercation with another woman might think twice before getting in another fight. Twenty-year old Tiffara Meggs appeared before Magistrate Adolph Lucas where she was charged with one count of common assault allegedly committed on Doris Guzman. She pleaded not guilty and was given bail in the sum of five hundred dollars plus one surety in the same amount. Meggs has also been ordered to stay away from Guzman or her bail will be revoked. Her mother, Jewel Joan Arana was also charged with threatening words in relation to the same incident. She pleaded not guilty and was also fined five hundred dollars and a surety in the same amount and ordered to stay away from Guzman. Both mother and daughter are to return to court on July twenty-ninth.
