Burglars sent to prison after being caught inside home
Two Belize City men are behind bars on remand after they were charged for a brazen burglary of a home on Arlington Drive. The men, thirty-one year old Ernest Hinds and twenty-three year old Julian Willoughby were allegedly caught inside the home on June twenty-fifth, in the act of making off with a television set. The men appeared before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer today and both pleaded not guilty to burglary. The prosecutor objected to bail on the grounds that the men were unable to give a proper address so would be impossible to locate and also because they were found inside the home, they posed a threat to the complainant. The Magistrate agreed and both men were remanded into custody until August seventh.
