Yellowman pleads guilty to Harm

Story PictureWhen we last saw Brian “Yellowman” Audinett the political activist and onetime U.D.P. television spokesman was busy jousting with the riot squad on the steps of Independence Hill. And while the fleet footed messenger managed to evade his captors in the nation’s capital, today he was tripped up in Belize City Magistrate’s Court following an altercation with a female acquaintance. According to court reports, on July twenty-second the twenty-five year old Audinett became embroiled in a dispute with one Jacqueline Vaughan in an alley off Amara Avenue. The dispute deteriorated into a fight in which Vaughan suffered scratches to the face and back. Today Yellowman pleaded guilty to a charge of Harm and was fined one hundred fifty dollars plus five dollars in court costs. If the money is not paid by September ninth he will be obliged to serve two months behind bars.
