Family grateful for viewer?s help

On Friday we brought you the touching story of fifty-one year old Socorro Castillo and her eleven year old son Gabriel. The single parent family has been struggling to live a normal life after the mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Tonight however, we have been encouraged by a number of pledges of help we have received, mostly from our international internet viewers.

But it was a Belizean who really came through bigtime today. The anonymous donor left an envelop with two hundred dollars at Channel Five and today I had the pleasure to present it to the family. They are extremely thankful.
