Suspect arrested in hit & run
Last week we brought you the story of eighteen year old Tyrone Teck, the young man injured by a hit and run driver on Currasow Street in Belize City. Today police arrested and charged the man they believe knocked Teck down and sped away. He is Sergio Rivera, a resident of Warrie Street and the proprietor of Belizean Meat Pies of Water Lane. Rivera has been charged with Driving Without Due Care and Attention, Negligent Harm and Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
