Baby drowns in Corozal well
A fourteen month old child of Corozal Town is dead tonight, an apparent drowning victim. According to police reports, sometime around noon yesterday, twenty-three year old Alma Hall went to buy fish, leaving her son, Daniel Hall, in the care of her mother. When she returned, Daniel was nowhere to be found. Hall immediately proceeded to look for the little boy, searching the home and the yard, which led to the discovery of Daniel’s lifeless body floating in their well. The child was rushed to the Corozal Hospital, but pronounced dead on arrival. Police are awaiting the results of a post mortem.
