Suspect charged in Ladyville jewellery heist
Magistrate Gabb also heard the case of a man accused of stealing almost twenty-five thousand dollars worth of household items. Thirty-one year old Dennis Quilter is charged with burglary, attempted burglary, damage to property and handling stolen goods, all in connection with a break in at the home of Veronica Amoa in Ladyville in June. Amoa reported that someone had entered her house and stole her jewellery, a laptop and various other items. Subsequent police investigations have reportedly produced the missing goods in Quilter’s possession. The case has been adjourned until July thirty-first.
