Former D.J. releases C.D.
Last week we premiered the comeback C.D. of Punta Rocker Super G. Tonight we look at a less well known artist with a different kind of music.

Twenty-one year old Gilbert Alamilla a.k.a. ?Mr. Program? started out his career as a disc jockey. But he soon grew tired of buying music and decided to start making his own.
According to artist, New Introduction is a combination of reggae, dancehall and reggaeton.

?The album itself is an original track the introduction is ?Mama Don?t Cry? it has a reggaeton background to it, but it is a reggae song, pure English. Then you have a combination of dancehall with reggaeton and then you have a couple reggaeton tracks whe all ah dem original. But fu deh dancehall part we have instrumental, whe we already start use da Belize some of the more famous one deh. This wah be wah very hot album fu this year. I deh go all bout the place at my own expense just fu mek sure that everybody could reach. Da wah positive album.?
The album is distributed at music stores in Belize City, Orange Walk, Cayo and in San Pedro but Alamilla is using a secret weapon ? a translator.
Gilbert Alamilla
?Belize style, we have about fifty percent of the population whe da Latino or Latin speaking people. So I need to do something whe ah cater to everybody or majority ah the group.?
