Septic tank collapse kills Corozal man

In other tragic news from the north, a Corozal family is mourning the loss of a loved one following a freak accident in their backyard. Apparently nineteen year old Wilbert Dermont was helping his father and brother build a septic tank near their home in San Antonio village. But while Wilbert was walking on one of the walls, the blocks collapsed and the young man was trapped underneath the rubble. When cops arrived at the scene, they found Dermont’s lifeless body inside the partially completed tank. His body was transported to the Northern Regional hospital where it awaits a post mortem examination.
