S.J.C. School of Professional Studies hires first dean
In news from Belize’s academic community, St. John’s College School of Professional Studies has appointed its first dean. She is Deborah Domingo. The former principal of Sadie Vernon High School and acting principal of Anglican Cathedral College assumed her new duties at the beginning of the month. According to the board of directors, Domingo’s educational background and administrative experience is expected to ensure the active development of the school. Officially launched in June, S.J.C. says that the School of Professional Studies is designed to offer a varied subject list to students unable to attend school during traditional daytime hours.
