Anthony Rancharan wins SMARTS big raffle

Today, Smart announced the winner of their latest big raffle – a trip for two to New York with spending money and all the bells and whistles included. By any definition that’s a prize worth winning, and today Anthony Rancharan from Pomona Valley was all smiles as he went to collect his prize. Ian Courtenay is the PR point man for Smart, which is just coming off its World Cup Raffle.

“In July we launched the raffle which is a raffle for two to New York City which includes a one thousand five hundred dollars spending cash, a helicopter tour of the city as well as New York style entertainment. So depending on when the winner decides to go, some Broadway tickets, probably a sporting event or two that they may wish to see.”

“How long have you been a SMART customer?”

“From the time SMART was established.”

“So you are one of the loyal customers?”

“Yes I do.”

“How do you feel about winning this big raffle?”

“I feel very good. First time I win something in my life and it is something big.”

“What dah yo plans now? When yo gwen dah New York?

 

Anthony Rancharan

“Well I haven’t decided as yet, but I do will take the trip.”

“You hear all the big things they have planned—Broadway, helicopter trip; you ever been on a helicopter?”

“No I haven’t.”

So this will be a lot of first for you?”

 

Anthony Rancharan

“That’s correct.”

 

Ian Courtenay

“We are always looking for interesting ways to give back to our costumers for their loyalty and patronage. So we thought of during the summer one of the exciting things that we can do is give away a trip.”

 

Anthony Rancharan

“I want to thank SMART for bring people together.”

 

According to Courtenay, customers can look out for more big giveaways this Christmas.
