Woman attacks cop with razor during court case

A Corozal courtroom became a crime scene on Tuesday after a woman attacked a police officer with a razor blade right in front of the judge. Reports to News Five are that thirty-three year old Pauline Gibson and Police Constable Jason Shaw were in court to settle a civil matter but during the proceedings, Gibson flipped out and attacked Shaw with the blade. When the melee was over, the officer had suffered a cut wound to his neck. He was rushed to the Corozal hospital where he received twelve stitches to close the wound. Gibson was immediately detained and today she was arrested and charged with grievous harm, attempted murder, aggravated assault, use of deadly means of harm and disturbing the court.
