Stadium caretaker is found in dead in Independence

The partially nude body of twenty-four-year-old Ferris Torres was discovered inside the sports council’s office in Independence Village on Thursday morning.  Shortly before nine a.m., police visited the Michael Ashcroft Stadium where they found the caretaker lying face down with what appeared to be abrasions to both knees.  While there were no other apparent signs of injury on the body, a homicide investigation is currently underway.  Employees of the local chapter of the National Sports Council came across the scene of the body when they reported to work around eight-thirty that morning.  The body has been transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where it awaits a post mortem examination.
