Human remains discovered in Honey Camp

Tonight Orange Walk police are tonight awaiting the results of forensic tests following the discovery of human remains found scattered over a large area approximately ten miles along the Honey Camp Road. The gruesome find was made around six thirty on Thursday evening by people living in the area. Authorities tell News Five that among the bones they also recovered a long blue jeans pants that they believe belong to the victim. While investigators suspect that the bones are those of a man who went missing in the area sometime last year, they are currently awaiting examination results to provide them with a name and determine a cause of death.
