Three sibling cops attack another cop

Story PictureAlso in the Magistrate’s court, three cops: two brothers and a sister, were charged for attacking one of their own during a case of domestic abuse. Today, twenty-two year old police constable, Rachel Sutherland and her two brothers: twenty year old Ryan and twenty-four year old Ronald, were placed on interdiction by the police department for allegedly assaulting Corporal Ian Geban. When the trio appeared in court, they were slapped with charges of Damage to Property, Harm, Resisting Arrest and Assault. The Sutherlands pleaded not guilty and were offered bail of one thousand five hundred dollars by Magistrate Tracy Sosa. The incident occurred sometime before ten on Monday night when Geban was allegedly attacked by the Sutherland’s at the corner of Water Lane and East Canal. According to Geban, the altercation unfolded after Ronald’s common-law-wife called for police assistance and the Domestic Violence Unit (DVU) responded. Geban tried to quell the fight, but was allegedly attacked by Ryan, Ronald and Rachel.
