?It?s very easy. The idea is that it doesn?t matter your academic level or your social or economic level, what we want to know is your programme. You only need to send us a briefing with your project, an application form and four photographs. And that?s it, you?re in.?
?We have another programme that is really nice also that deals with jaguar conservation trust and in this one, the idea is to invite the people to present ideas or proposals to how to protect the jaguars. Because we know that in Belize, it?s a really important number of jaguars and we want to protect them. So in the first one, the project has to be ongoing but in the jaguar the people can just present an idea on how to protect this wonderful animal.?
Deadline for applications is September eighth. The Ford Conservation Grant will be awarded in the amount of twenty thousand dollars while the Jaguar Conservation Grant totals thirty thousand dollars. For more information, please contact their agents in Belize, BelCaribe Communications at 223-3893.
