Murder charges dropped against four suspects
Charges of murder have been withdrawn against three men and a woman accused of killing Sherwin Yarwood. Acting on a memo from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, today Magistrate Dorothy Flowers had no choice but to dismiss the murder and conspiracy charges against Erwin Adolphus, Terrence Bailey, Jerry Busch, and Shinnette Staine. The reason given for the dismissal was that there was insufficient evidence against the group to make even a basic case. On November thirtieth, 2005, Yarwood’s body was found at an abandoned lot on the Southern Foreshore. The twenty year old had been beaten and shot in the back of the head.
