Stevedores say DFC has not paid dues to CWU for years

The reason for the postponement of the congress is due to the current financial situation of the union.  The forthcoming process, according to Pitter, should exclude the membership of the Development Finance Corporation, which he says has not paid dues, nor has it been an active member of the Christian Workers Union for several years.

Dion Pitter, Member, Christian Workers Union

“DFC noh have one cents ina this because dehn noh pay for four years. You know weh dah the question; you know why Miss Sherry Berry tell we why dehn noh pay, because yon oh have no financial report, because yon oh have no monthly meeting; yon oh have this.
