Sacred Heart College invites you to its annual school fair and business expo

This weekend, the Sacred Heart College will be hosting its annual school fair and business expo on its grounds in San Ignacio. The event will feature businesses from throughout the community which will be offering special deals and promotions for the occasion. The annual fair and expo is the single biggest fund raising event of the year for the college, which is currently trying to complete its campus auditorium. The structure is halfway to completion, and the college needs your help to make it happen. Academic Vice President, Karim Juan, told News Five that every year the community looks forward to the fair and expo, and this year will be bigger and better than ever.

“The business expo is where we invite in businesses to come in and they offer a lot of promotional products to the people who attend the school fair. We have both phone companies coming in and we have double up from both B.T.L. and Smart, we have San Cas and Angelus Press and a lot of businesses coming in to offer discounted prices on their products. It attracts more people to our school fair. At the school fair we have games of chance, sporting events, we have dog shows, we have bands coming in to play as entertainment, we have a disco at night and we also rent out the booths to these businesses. I would like to invite all our parents, all our other stakeholders, all our people close by in our community to come out to support Sacred Heart College. This initiative will continue to assist us in completing this auditorium project so I want to invite everybody out. There will be so many activities at the fair for you to do, for your children to do and I’m sure you will have a lot of fun at our school fair…so that’s this Friday and Saturday right here at Sacred Heart College.”
The fair starts with a variety show on Friday at six p.m. and then Saturday all day until twelve midnight. According to Juan, the attendance annually is usually in the range of three thousand persons.
