Mother of Opposition Leader dies at 78
Tonight we regret to announce the passing of Joyce Barrow, the mother of Leader of the Opposition Dean Barrow. Mrs. Barrow, who died on Wednesday, was seventy-eight years old. She is survived by her husband Arthur Barrow and children Denys Barrow and Denyce Barrow-Anderson. Brothers Dean Lindo, James Lindo and Gilbert Lindo.
A funeral service will be held at All Saints Church Friday afternoon at three.
Because of the passing of Joyce Barrow, the Speaker of the House of Representatives has ordered that the sitting of the House scheduled for Friday will now be held on Monday.
