Daylight robbery attempt ends in arrests
A daylight robbery attempt in King’s Park has ended in the arrest of two men. According to police reports, around four thirty Wednesday evening, forty-one year old Lowell Brooks was walking on Lizarraga Avenue when two young men tried to steal his cell phone and briefcase. Brooks put up a fight and as luck would have it, a mobile patrol in the area came upon the scene and arrested the perpetrators. They have been identified as seventeen year old Edwin Flores and twenty year old Edgar Chuc. Flores and Chuc have since been charged with attempted robbery.
