Fishermen talk about the one that didn?t get away
Fishermen are known for their tall tales, but today two sea faring men should have no problem proving that they caught a whopper. This morning, Shelton Broaster and Wilfred Flowers hooked a three hundred pound Goliath Grouper off Moho Caye. News Five caught up with the man who did not let the big one get away.
Alyssa Noble, Reporting
?Shelton, tell me what it was like pulling in this big fish??
Shelton Broaster, Fisherman
?Well its like just excitement for us, we ketching it you undastand. Because it?s not an easy ketch. To ketch a fish like this is not an easy ketch.?
Alyssa Noble
?How long did it take you to pull this in, and how much man power did you need to pull this in??
Shelton Broaster
?Well it?s just an art right, it?s not man power, it?s just an art. And then it takes about half an hour to pull it.?
Alyssa Noble
?What are you going to do with such a big fish??
Shelton Broaster
?Well it?s a business you know. I ketch it for the business and stuff, selling and thing you know. Mek back the money we spend on gas you know.?
Alyssa Noble
?So I guess this mean no more fishing for you for about a good two weeks noh??
Shelton Broaster
?No! We got to try again tomorrow. This is just a lucky catch for today, for the week you know, so we?ve got to try again.?
Both Broaster and Flowers will return to the sea tomorrow, no doubt with high hopes.
