A 75 year old man dies instantly after being knocked off his bike

Approximately two hours later, there was another fatal traffic accident this time on the Philip Goldson Highway; it claimed the life of a seventy-five year old man. Around six p.m., Gregory Lopez was riding his beach cruiser bicycle towards Belize City when a white Dodge RAM truck knocked him down near mile six on the highway. The vehicle, driven at the time by thirty-six year old Eldon Daniel Hendy of Isabella Bank Village hit the bicycle which and Lopez was flung to the pavement. Lopez sustained head and body injuries and died on the spot. Hendy has since been served with a notice of intended prosecution.
