Placencia fire damages estimated at 1.2 million dollars
In the aftermath of Sunday night’s fire in Placencia, the victims have estimated total damage to be more than a million dollars. According to a police press release, the four residential buildings and contents have been valued at two hundred and ten thousand dollars while the Purple Space Monkey estate has tallied its loss at one million dollars. The business owner, John Roberts, is faring better than his neighbours however as he was the only one with insurance.
