The lucky winners of Western Union Treasure Chest Raffle

Today at the offices of the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the lucky winners were chosen for the December 2013 Western Union Treasure Chest Raffle. The raffle is done every quarter to give back to its customers. Nine participants from across the country gathered for an opportunity to spin a treasure wheel and win great prizes. Delmi Novelo, Marketing and Public Relations Officer of the Belize Chamber of Commerce, explained how the participants were selected as well as what’s in store for 2014.

“The Treasure Chest Wheel is part of our loyalty program; it started in March and it ran all the way in December. This is way for us to give back to our customers. So anytime they send or receive money, they also have an opportunity to win something so we want to give back to them as well.”

“Let’s talk about the selection process for the participants; how did that come about?”

“Well what we did, we selected ten names from oru barrel and the tickets came from all our networks. We got tickets from Corozal, Orange Walk, PG and we asked our agents to send it to us and from there we did the selection process.”

“Now this is the last event for the year. The Chamber has held several events actually, the finance expo, the Christmas Expo; what is coming up for the chamber and Western Union for 2014?”

“Well we definitely have many activities coming on board this year. We do plan to make it even better than the years before as it relates to our expos. We want to bring something different, something new, something the people can also enjoy. We also do have a new loyalty program coming up for our Western Union customers so they can also look forward to better opportunities to win great prizes.”
