No foul play suspected in death of American woman
Independence police have ruled out foul play following the sudden death of an American woman in Monkey River. Fifty one year old Emily Roberts was found dead on Thursday morning inside her bedroom with what appeared to be bruises to the back of her head. A post mortem later determined cause of death to be a brain haemorrhage. Residents of Monkey River told authorities that Roberts had been complaining of pain in her neck. Investigating officers tell News Five that they believe Roberts fell, hit her head and died.
