Aspiring gospel singer releases first album
In the spirit of helping the aspiring artists among us break onto the music scene, tonight we feature the work of Theophilos and his gospel album entitled “Rain”. The Belize City resident says the lyrics represent his innermost feelings.
Theophilos, Artist
?Well the album is inspirational; it?s more like my journal. Except that it is in music form, and I collaborated with five different artists, local artists like Jacob Diggs and Chris Yager.?
?Its Christian music, like its reggae, there?s some dancehall on there, some rhythm and blues and hip hop.?
?Life itself has been my greatest inspiration. Because life is a learning lesson because you go through certain situations, and like I just wrote about my situation and my life experiences, and I just wrote poems and turned them into songs, so basically life has been my greatest influence for this album.
?It was a learning experience for me because it?s my debut album. I had fun doing it also. I just hope I can come up with another album after this one, and I am just looking for support with this first album and hopefully I become a better artist.?
“Rain” is on sale for fifteen dollars at the True Life Christian Centre on Central American Boulevard.
