Chief Justice said to be improving
Details remain in short supply tonight concerning the condition of Chief Justice Abdulai Conteh. The sixty-one year old Conteh suffered a stroke over the weekend and is currently in the intensive care unit at Universal Health Services. According to today’s Belize Times the C.J. is showing good signs of recovery and is speaking and moving in his bed. Efforts by News Five to speak to his family at U.H.S. were unsuccessful but they did send a note from Conteh which asked us to “please inform the media that I am doing fine and recovering well.”
