Ministry of Health launches investigation into baby?s death

Today the Minister of Health, Jose Coye, announced that he has launched an investigation into the death of two year old Kimora Leslie. The panel is headed by Director of Health Services, Dr. Jorge Palanco and includes his deputy, Marjorie Parks; the Ministry’s Chief Planner, Dr. Peter Allen; Medical Association President Dr. Martha Habet and an unnamed Crown Counsel from the Solicitor General’s office. The group will determine “if any breaches of contract, code of ethics, policies and protocols, or negligence were contributory factors” to the death of baby Kimora. The team’s findings are expected within a week.
