Resident of Xaibe killed, 14 injured, in road wreck
Also in Corozal, a traffic accident on the Northern Highway has claimed a life. Twenty year old Eduardo Mollinedo of Xaibe Village was a passenger in a pickup truck that collided head on with a van on Friday night north of Corozal Town on the Northern Highway. A total of fourteen other persons, primarily passengers in the van, were injured in the mishap. Police are still trying to sort out exactly how the collision occurred and no charges have yet been filed.
