?Old Bomb? identified and arrested for attempted murder

Following a stabbing incident in Belize City last Friday, police have arrested and charged the prime suspect in the case. Fifty-two year old Arthur Thomas, also known as “Old Bomb,” stands accused of attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, and dangerous harm. Thomas has been identified by forty year old Francis Simon as the man who stabbed him in the neck during a quarrel over a pair of shoes. The victim was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital with the knife still in his neck. The weapon was surgically removed and Simon has been since been released to recover at home.
