Roberto Gilharry freed of Handling Stolen Goods
Also before Magistrate Dale Cayetano, thirty-seven year old Roberto Gilharry walked from a charge of handling stolen goods. The matter was initially before Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith, but today, the prosecutor dealt with it before Cayetano who struck out the matter for want of prosecution when the alleged victim, Kwame Scott failed to show up in court to testify. Back in October 2012, Gilharry was charged with Handling Stolen Goods, a Ford Escort car, which he claimed was sold to him by Scott. Gilharry explained that the car was then resold to another person. After he was freed of the charge, Gilharry said that he will be taking legal action against Scott as he feels aggrieved.
