Jailed burglar sentenced to five more years
A convicted thief already behind bars has had another five years added to his jail time. According to court reports, before the police or victim could testify, thirty-eight year old Donald King decided to plead guilty to burglary in connection with an incident at the home of Bharat Budrani. On July fourth, 2003, police on patrol on Albert Street spotted two men coming out of a window in Budrani’s house and pursued them. They caught King trying to hide in a nearby yard and would later find two V.C.R.’s belonging to Budrani wrapped in a T-shirt. King is already an inmate at the Hattieville Prison, having been convicted of breaking into the home of B.D.F. Commander Lloyd Gillett last August.
