Hansel Garcia dies 5 days after he’s shot

There is also another murder to report which occurred down south. Seventeen year old Hansel Garcia was shot multiple times last Wednesday as he was walking through Castillo Alley in Dangriga. Around eight o’clock, police say a lone gunman came up and fired several shots at Garcia and then fled the scene. Mission, as he was known, was found lying on the street suffering from gunshot wounds to the forearm, leg and back. Garcia was rushed to the Southern Regional Hospital in critical condition. Despite a series of surgeries, the young fisherman died on Monday night from ‘Septic Shock due to Multiple Organs Failure as a Consequence of Multiple Gun Shot Wounds.’ No one has been detained for his murder.
