Police solve 4 yr. old murder of Clint Geban
The crime itself took place more than four years ago, but tonight police are patting themselves on the back for making an arrest in the murder of thirty-one year old Clint Geban. Today, twenty-seven year old Kenroy Tillett was arraigned in Magistrate’s Court after police collected new evidence linking him to the murder. On September twelfth, 2001, Geban was shot and killed as he stood at the corner of Plues and South streets. Police say a black Isuzu Sidekick drove up to where Geban was standing and Tillett has been identified as the man who fired several shots. Geban was hit in the stomach and later died at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. According to press officer G. Michael Reid, the arrest is just one of many they hope to make as the police start to aggressively investigate other unsolved cases.

?Murder in particular and we have a number of cases that weren?t solved that the C.I.B. personnel have decided, you know what we need to pay more attention to some of these cases. And they?ve gone back and dug up some of the old files and are trying to bring closure to some of these cases.?

?Now in this particular case, involving Clint Geban, where was Tillett hiding??
G. Michael Reid
?Word is that he wasn?t exactly hiding, but the C.I.B. people were just trying to put together a case and they were trying to get enough evidence and now they believe they have enough evidence to take the case to trial.?
?Certainly in some ways the trial does get cold as time goes by, but once all the evidence that exists are kept on file and the files are there available and can be perused from time to time, and other parts of the puzzle added on to it, there are times when something might just occur out of the blue that assists in putting that final piece in place. The forensics of course is playing a vital role and we believe that as soon as the forensics lab comes on stream the necessary equipment is added in, then certainly that will make things a lot easier.?
Members of the Geban family say the past several years have been painful and their only hope is that authorities have enough evidence to secure a conviction.
