Armed robbers hit water company in O.W.
The Orange Walk office of Belize Water Services has been hit by armed robbers. According to police reports, around two-thirty this afternoon a pair of masked men, one armed with a pump shotgun, entered the B.W.S.L. office on Stadium Street. The gunman threatened the employees while his sidekick emptied the cash drawer of four thousand, six hundred and sixty-eight dollars plus another thousand in cheques. The workers were also relieved of three cell phones. The duo rode off on bicycles and at news time Orange Walk police were engaged in a search of the area.
