Villager arraigned for carnal knowledge of 12-year-old
In court news, today an eighteen old man from St. Paul’s Bank in the Belize district was arraigned on a charge of carnal knowledge in connection with a report made by a twelve-year-old girl. According to the victim, in August of last year she was at her father’s house in Belize City when Orie “Spike” Weir came into her bedroom and had sexual intercourse with her. Weir has been remanded to Hattieville prison until March seventh.
